Prism Easily Portable
Much like Fluid, Mozilla’s Prism is an application that lets users split web applications out of their browser and run them directly on their desktop.

I already use Fluid on my Mac, what makes Prism interesting is the fact that it’s available for multiple platforms. I’ve developed a CD-ROM for the company I work for that uses Portable Firefox as interface to a JavaScript-driven catalog viewer written in HTML. Prism is better suited for such a thing, so I gave it a try to see whether it would easily run from a CD-ROM and guess what - it does! It takes a little time to load, but it works. Being that I’m a Mac guy, the next task will be to bundle it all into a hybrid CD that runs on both Mac and PC.
